Privacy Policy

When you choose a file in a PDFTry tool, the file is read by your browser tab and processed on your device using browser code. For the listed tools, PDFTry is designed not to upload your selected PDF files to a PDFTry server for processing.

Because the tools are browser-local and do not require accounts, PDFTry does not intentionally collect these things from normal tool use:

• The contents of PDFs, images, documents, or files you select.
• A copy of your processed output files.
• Account profile data, because PDFTry does not currently require accounts.
• Payment data, because PDFTry is free today.

PDFTry may collect limited website and support information so the site can work, improve, and respond to requests.

• Basic technical information your browser sends when loading the site, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamp in hosting logs.
• Analytics information only if you accept analytics cookies, such as page views, session statistics, approximate geography, device category, browser, and referrer.
• Messages you send to us, including your email address and the content of your request.

PDFTry uses Google Analytics 4 only after you accept analytics cookies. We configured analytics without Google signals or ad personalization in the website code. Google requires sites using Google Analytics to disclose that use and explain how data is collected and processed.

PDFTry uses a small local storage value to remember your analytics choice. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may set analytics cookies in your browser. You can change your choice from the Cookie Policy page.

We use limited website information to operate PDFTry, understand which pages and tools are useful, improve performance and UX, prevent abuse, and respond to legal or support requests.

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help run the site, such as hosting and analytics providers, or when required by law.

You can use PDFTry without accepting analytics cookies. You can also clear site data in your browser, use Global Privacy Control, or contact us to ask about information associated with your browser or support messages.

PDFTry is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
